The 1-Click Filter Setup analyzes your WooCommerce catalog, recommends useful product filters, creates the required filter groups, and places them on the shop automatically.

The setup considers available product data such as:

  • Prices
  • Product categories
  • Brands
  • Global attributes
  • Stock statuses
  • Products on sale
  • Ratings
  • Product tags

Only filters that are relevant to the current catalog are recommended. For example, the Rating filter will not be created if the store does not have enough rated products.

All automatically created filters can be edited later.

Where to find 1-Click Setup

The 1-Click setup is available:

  • During the initial plugin setup wizard.
  • On BeRocket → Product Filters → Filters when no filters have been created yet.

If filters already exist, the 1-Click card is not displayed. This prevents the automatic setup from replacing an existing manually configured filter system.

The setup must be performed by an administrator who can manage WooCommerce and theme or sidebar placement.

How 1-Click Setup works

  1. The plugin analyzes the product catalog.
  2. It selects filters that can help customers navigate the catalog.
  3. It shows the filters that will be created.
  4. It selects suitable desktop and mobile positions.
  5. After confirmation, it creates the filters and filter groups.
  6. It places the groups in the selected shop locations.
  7. A health check verifies that the filters and placements were created successfully.

Before creating anything, you can review the proposed filters and placement.

Click Create filters in 1 click to apply the setup, or use Advanced setup to configure the filters manually.

Free version

The Free version uses local catalog analysis to create a basic filter configuration.

Depending on the available product data, the setup may recommend:

  • Price
  • Product categories
  • Brands
  • Suitable global product attributes
  • Rating
  • Product tags

The Price filter is created only when products have a useful price range. Attributes are selected according to their product coverage, number of values, and usefulness for customers.

Store type

The Free version uses the General store profile.

Store-specific profiles are displayed as a Premium feature and cannot be selected in the Free version.

Placement

The Free version searches for a reliable WooCommerce or shop sidebar in the active theme.

When a suitable sidebar is found, the setup creates separate desktop and mobile filter groups and places them in that sidebar. Both groups use the same filter definitions but have their own device visibility settings.

If the theme does not provide a reliable shop sidebar, automatic placement may not be available. In this case, use Advanced setup or upgrade for plugin-controlled placement options.

Not included in Free

The following 1-Click features require a Premium license:

  • Availability filter
  • On Sale filter
  • Store type selection
  • Plugin-controlled filters above products
  • Compact mobile filter presentation

Premium version

premium version

The Premium version includes all Free features and provides additional recommendations, store profiles, styles, and placement options.

Additional filters

When they are relevant to the catalog, the setup can also create:

  • Availability — allows customers to filter products by stock status.
  • On Sale — displays products that are currently on sale.

These filters are created only when the catalog contains enough useful data. For example, On Sale will not be recommended when almost no products—or nearly all products—are discounted.

Store type selection

Before creating filters, select the type of store:

  • General store — uses general catalog-wide recommendations.
  • Fashion — prioritizes size, color, gender, and material.
  • Electronics — prioritizes memory, screen size, processor, and rating.
  • Furniture — prioritizes material, color, room, and style.
  • Auto parts — prioritizes vehicle compatibility and part attributes.
  • Cosmetics — prioritizes shade, skin type, and product concerns.

The selected store type changes the priority of suitable filters. It does not create filters for attributes that do not exist or are not useful in the current catalog.

For example, selecting Fashion may prioritize Size and Color, but these filters will be created only if the corresponding attributes are assigned to enough products.

Improved placement

The Premium version can use plugin-controlled placement when the theme does not provide a suitable WooCommerce sidebar.

The recommended mobile group is displayed above the products using a compact presentation. The group can display its filters in line and show only the group title until the customer opens it.

If a reliable shop sidebar exists, it may still be used for the desktop group.

Business version

business version

The Business version includes all Free and Premium features and adds optional AI-assisted recommendations and the Featured Products Intelligent Filter.

AI-assisted recommendations

Enable Optimize recommendations with AI before clicking Create filters in 1 click to allow AI optimization.

This option is available only when the store has enough recent sales data to produce useful product combinations.

AI can:

  • Improve the priority of locally eligible filter recommendations.
  • Provide a short explanation for recommended filters.
  • Analyze useful combinations from recent sales.
  • Create an additional Featured Products Intelligent Filter.

AI cannot create an unsupported filter type, use a missing attribute, or change the selected placement. Every AI recommendation is checked against the current local catalog before it is used.

If AI is disabled, unavailable, still processing, or cannot return a valid result, the setup automatically continues with the standard local recommendations.

Featured Products Intelligent Filter

When enough useful sales data is available, the Business setup can create a Featured filter containing several shopper-friendly product combinations.

For example:

  • Pink Apple 2 TB
  • Black Samsung 512 GB
  • Blue Nike Size 42

The filter normally contains between five and seven Grouped Values. Each value is built from existing local product attributes or taxonomies and uses AND logic to match the complete combination.

The Featured filter uses the Intelligent Filters add-on. When required, 1-Click Setup enables this add-on automatically.

The generated filter can be edited later from BeRocket → Product Filters → Filters, just like a manually created Intelligent Filter.

Data used by Business AI

AI optimization is optional and requires explicit consent.

The plugin may send anonymized aggregate information, including:

  • General catalog structure.
  • Product and category counts.
  • Eligible attribute labels and statistics.
  • Anonymized combinations of top-selling product characteristics from the last 90 days.
  • Aggregated units sold, order counts, and combination ranking.

The plugin does not send:

  • Product or variation IDs
  • Product names
  • SKUs
  • Product URLs
  • Descriptions
  • Images
  • Order IDs
  • Customer information

The plugin key and store domain are used separately to verify the active Business license. Catalog analysis data is not stored by the AI service.

If the consent option is not enabled, all recommendations are generated locally.

Create the filters

After catalog analysis is complete:

  1. Review the We will create list.
  2. Review the selected desktop and mobile placement.
  3. Premium and Business users can select a store type.
  4. Business users can optionally enable AI optimization.
  5. Click Create filters in 1 click.
  6. Wait until the setup is completed.
  7. Click View filters in shop to check the result.

You can also click Edit filters to open the list of generated filters.

What is created

Depending on the license, catalog, and active theme, the setup may create:

  • Individual product filters.
  • A desktop filter group.
  • A mobile filter group.
  • Sidebar widgets or an above-products placement.
  • Business Featured Products Intelligent Filter.

Desktop and mobile groups share the same filters. Editing one generated filter therefore updates it in both groups.

The groups retain separate display settings, allowing the desktop and mobile presentations to behave differently.

Editing the generated setup

All generated items are regular BeRocket filters and groups.

You can change:

  • Filter names
  • Filter styles
  • Attribute values
  • Filter order
  • Group titles
  • Display conditions
  • Desktop and mobile visibility
  • Sidebar or above-products placement
  • Intelligent Filter values

Open BeRocket → Product Filters → Filters or Groups to modify the generated configuration.

Safe setup and automatic rollback

1-Click Setup records the filters, groups, widgets, and plugin settings it creates.

If an error occurs before setup is completed, the plugin removes only the items created by the failed 1-Click operation and restores the previous placement settings.

Existing user-created filters, groups, widgets, and unrelated plugin settings are not removed.

Troubleshooting

The 1-Click card is not displayed

The card is displayed only when no filter definitions exist.

If filters have already been created, use the existing filter list or Advanced setup.

The Create filters in 1 click button is disabled

Check that:

  • You are logged in as an administrator.
  • Your account can manage WooCommerce.
  • Your account can manage theme and sidebar settings.
  • A valid desktop and mobile placement is available for your license.

A filter was not recommended

The setup creates only filters supported by the current license and backed by useful catalog data.

Check that:

  • The attribute is a global WooCommerce product attribute.
  • It is assigned to enough products.
  • It contains multiple useful values.
  • Products are assigned to the required categories, brands, tags, or statuses.

You can create any missing filter manually after completing the setup.

Filters were created but are not visible

Check that:

  • The generated filter groups are enabled.
  • The selected sidebar is displayed on WooCommerce shop pages.
  • The above-products placement is enabled.
  • The group’s device visibility settings match the current device.
  • Page and caching-plugin caches were cleared.
